Cookies & technologies

Understand what the website uses, what the static restoration changes, and where to ask a question.

About this notice

Cookies and related storage can support preferences, sessions, security, analytics, or other functions. The relevant purpose and actual implementation matter. This page describes the restored static copy, not the unrelated service currently reached by the original live domain.

Local content and assets

The restored pages use local images, fonts, styles, and scripts for their presentation. The new journal does not add advertising pixels or analytics tags. Historical script integrations that could not be restored were removed from this static copy. A production operator who enables analytics or other services should review the configuration and update this explanation.

External content and links

Some archived pages may contain external media, maps, links, or commerce references. An embed can connect to its provider when loaded; following a link opens a separate service. That service has its own settings and privacy practices. A source link in an article does not imply that the provider receives a contact enquiry.

Browser controls

Your browser may offer controls to inspect, restrict, or remove cookies and other stored information. Those controls vary by browser. Removing a saved preference can change the behavior of features that rely on it. A browser setting does not necessarily remove information already received by a provider.

No decorative settings control

This page is an explanation, not a consent or preference-management interface. It does not claim to change tracking settings. Any live deployment using optional technologies needs an appropriate review of its actual behavior and the requirements applying to its visitors and operator.

Questions

Use the contact route for a question about a particular page or technology. Include the page and a concise description without sharing unnecessary sensitive browsing information. The existing privacy policy and terms provide further context; their statements should also be reviewed before a new production service is enabled.
